How to create your ideal day

Do you find it really difficult to have great days? Do you have too much to do in too little time or just find yourself caught up in what everyone else wants you to do?Perhaps you’re too hard on yourself and expect perfection on a daily basis?? I’m not sure of your circumstances, but I do know when you experience awesomeness in most of the 8 key areas of life in any given day you are far more likely to feel fulfilled. On this video I share my day today with you and how I ticked off all 8 areas of life before dinner time. I don’t say this to boast; moreso to share with you how I judge success in each area of life. We tend to make it so hard to win and so easy to lose when judging victory for any given day. Eating breakfast with the kids fill up parts of my my nutrition, social and relationships bucket. Listening to a podcast fills up my growth bucket. This morning I went for a walk without headphones (very odd for me) and instead did what I heard @deangraziosi recommend on @jayshetty podcast – 1 gratitude, 1 reflection from yesterday and 1 wish for today (or something like that). It filled up my spirit bucket and I arrived home ready to crack in to helping four kids and Sarah get ready for the day. I don’t tick all 8 areas of each day … I don’t think that’s even human to do so … but I do have days like this often enough to know that this philosophy is powerful when you focus on it. Check in with yourself on these 8 areas on a daily basis (not just monthly or quarterly). Your days become your weeks, your weeks your months, your months your years and your years your lilfe. So treat tomorrow as perhaps the most important day of your life and consciously create an exceptional day in all 8 areas. Do you find it really difficult to have great days?

Do you have too much to do in too little time or just find yourself caught up in what everyone else wants you to do?

Perhaps you’re too hard on yourself and expect perfection on a daily basis??
